Course Description
Through the use of ICT, reviewing references, analyzing proposals and research results, in this course students are responsible for mastering the concepts, principles and procedures of research methodology to be able to make decisions about their application in solving ABK education problems, including: the nature of research, approaches, characteristics, objectives, types -types and procedures of research, literature review, research design, data collection and analysis techniques, validity and reliability, instruments, and being able to prepare proposals by referring to the Undergraduate Thesis Writing Guidebook. Unesa includes: determining/finding problems, compiling topics/titles, background, methods: approach, type-design, variables, population and sample, literature review, framework, hypothesis, data collection and analysis, and instruments), and being able to carry out ABK research.
Program Objectives (PO)
- Mahasiswa mampu menginternalisasi nilai-nilai agama, kebangsaan, budaya nasional, serta menerapkan etika akademik dalam penyusunan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi penelitian pendidikan khusus dengan menunjukkan integritas, kejujuran ilmiah, dan kepedulian terhadap keberagaman peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus.
- Mahasiswa mampu menyusun proposal penelitian pendidikan khusus secara logis, kritis, sistematis, dan kreatif dengan menerapkan kaidah ilmiah, pendekatan metodologis yang tepat, serta mengacu pada permasalahan nyata di bidang Pendidikan Luar Biasa.
- Mahasiswa mampu menjelaskan dan mengkaji konsep teoritis yang relevan dengan pendidikan khusus sebagai dasar dalam merumuskan masalah dan landasan teori penelitian di bidang Pendidikan Luar Biasa.
