Course Description
This course examines the application of microbiology concepts in the industrial sector which includes microbial criteria that can be used in the industrial sector, optimization of microbial growth for production, microbiological monitoring of industrial products, bioreactors, microbes that play a role in the industrial sector and their products, as well as Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points. Food production uses the services of microbes. Microbes spoil food and cause poisoning. This course is presented in theoretical and practical form.
Program Objectives (PO)
- 1. Mampu mendemonstrasikan pengetahuan dasar mikrobiologi industri untuk menganalisis permasalahan biologi terkini
- 2. Mampu mengambil keputusan dan merancang kegiatan/eksperimen untuk memecahkan permasalahan kehidupan dengan menggunakan pendekatan mikrobiologi industri dengan menerapkan prinsip keselamatan dan bioetika.
