Course Description
Examining Solid State Physics material, which includes: Crystal Structure; X Ray Diffraction, Neutron Diffraction, Electron Diffraction and (XRF, SEM, TEM, AFM); Crystal Bond; Grille Vibration; Einstein Model; Debye Model, Band Structure and Electrical Properties of Materials: Semiconductors, insulators and metals, The concept of effective mass; Pure Semiconductors and Impurities: Donors and Acceptors, Fermi level, Ef, Carrier concentration equations, Donors and acceptors both present; pn junction, pn Junction Diode; Electrical Conductance, Hall Effect; Light Emitting Diode; Paramagnetism, Diamagnetism, Ferromagnetism, Superconductors, Dielectrics, Supercapacitors
Program Objectives (PO)
- Mahasiswa mampu menjelaskan konsep dasar struktur kristal, difraksi, ikatan, fonon, elektron bebas, teori pita energi, semikonduktivitas, magnetisme, dan superkonduktivitas.
- Mahasiswa mampu menganalisis data simulasi terkait sifat fisika material padat.
- Mahasiswa mampu menyusun dan melaksanakan proyek berbasis PjBL tentang topik fisika zat padat.
- Mahasiswa mampu mengembangkan produk pembelajaran (poster) terkait topik fisika zat padat.
- Mahasiswa mampu mempresentasikan hasil proyek secara jelas, komunikatif, dan sesuai kaidah ilmiah.
