Course Description
COURSE DESCRIPTION This course provides material on Logic and Scientific Methods with a quantitative approach. This course aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills to design and conduct research in the field of management using correct scientific research principles. The topics of this course are quantitative research stages, data collection methods, measurement instrument validation methods, various quantitative data analysis methods and reporting processes.
Program Objectives (PO)
- Mahasiswa mampu mesintesis berbagai penelitian terdahulu untuk dituangkan dalam suatu gagasan baik melalui rumusan masalah dalam pembelajaran
- Mahasiswa merancang penelitian sesuai kaidah ilmiah untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan yang telah dibangun melalui teknik analisis yang tepat
- Mahasiswa mampu mengoperasikan media pembelajaran berbantuan teknologi informasi dan komputer (TIK) untuk mendukung pelaksanaan pembelajaran metodologi penelitian melalui penelusuran artikel ilmiah bereputasi
- Mahasiswa dapat menunjukkan karakter Bertanggung jawab terhadap kinerja pembelajaran diri, melakukan diskusi yang relevan dengan rekan, serta mampu mempertahankan hasil keputusan yang telah ditetapkan melalui teknik analisis secara kuantitatif yang relevan sesuai dengan metode ilmiah
- Mampu menginternalisasikan karakter cerdas, inovatif, berakhlak mulia, mandiri, peduli, beretika akademik dan berkomitmen mengembangkan ide-ide baru sesuai dengan peran dan fungsi yang diemban di dalam maupun di luar lingkungan kerja, maupun dalam kontek bermasyarakat, berbangsa dan bernegara.
