Course Description
This course provides an in-depth understanding of tourism management concepts and their practical applications, from the planning to the execution of tourism packages. Students will explore the foundations of tourism, including the unique nature of the tourism industry, types of tourism services, travel planning, tourist behavior, and tourism-related business operations. Key topics include tourism product development, service characteristics, tourism marketing frameworks, consumer behavior, market segmentation, targeting and positioning, service marketing mix, service quality and productivity, customer satisfaction and loyalty, and tourism communication. In addition to theoretical knowledge, students will observe and analyze real-world cases and implementations to gain hands on insights into the tourism sector.
