The Industrial Issues Study course equips Sociology students with an in-depth understanding of industrial dynamics and problems from a sociological perspective. Through theoretical and empirical approaches, this course examines industrial structure, industrial relations, the socioeconomic impacts of industrialization, and contemporary issues such as digital transformation, employment, and environmental sustainability. The aim is to develop students‘ analytical skills in identifying, analyzing, and responding to various industrial issues using a sociological approach. The scope includes national and global industrial sectors, industrial policies, and interactions between industrial actors (laborers, employers, government, and society). Students are asked to further examine issues related to the industrial world from a sociological perspective.
