The Early Childhood Mathematics Development course discusses concepts, principles, and strategies in introducing and developing basic mathematics skills in early childhood in a fun and developmentally appropriate way. Students will learn concrete, contextual, and game-based mathematics learning approaches, including the introduction of numbers, patterns, geometric shapes, measurement, and spatial concepts. In addition, this course also equips students with the ability to design creative and stimulating learning activities, in order to foster children‘s interest and understanding of mathematics holistically.
